We are looking for an experienced bridging underwriter to join our team as we go through a transitional period of growth.
You will need to be able to show a strong understanding of property lending – in particular bridging and development finance – from enquiry through to completion, and be able to demonstrate sound commercial judgement in your decision making and pragmatism in your attitude towards risk.

Experience and qualifications:
- 3 years’ recent experience in full lifecycle property underwriting (bridging and/or developments)
- CeMAP advantageous in conjunction with experience
- Demonstrable experience of handling complex cases
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills (both internal and external)
- Strong literacy ability across all forms of communication
Responsibilities:
- Full lifecycle underwriting from enquiry through to completion
- Managing your own case load
- Assisting product development
- Managing internal and external relationships
- Seeking out new business opportunities
- Assisting with company marketing strategy and campaigns
- Supporting other departments/colleagues in various projects
